‘Twilight’ Director: “Love At First Sight” for Kristen Stewart with Rob Pattinson

(GettyImages.com)

It was “love at first sight” for Kristen Stewart when she met Robert Pattinson, says Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.

In a new interview with Newsweek, Hardwicke recounts when the actors met for the very first time at her home in Malibu, observing that Stewart “felt connected to [Pattinson] from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is.”

After they kissed for the first time during the audition, Stewart, who had already won the role of Bella, urged the director, “It’s got to be Rob!”

Hardwicke was in full agreement – but made Pattinson agree to one condition first.

“You’ve got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old,” she told Pattinson, who was then 20. “She’s underage. You’ve got to focus, dude, or you’re going to be arrested. I made him swear on a stack of Bibles.”

The co-stars are currently filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver.

Kristen Stewart Not Slated to Start ‘K-11′ Anytime Soon

(GettyImages.com)

Kristen Stewart’s post-Breaking Dawnproduction schedule has been the subject of intense scrutiny, and this week there appears to be a new wrinkle.

The actress is still attached to K-11, a drama directed and co-written by her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart.

Now, IMDb and other outlets claim that K-11 will begin production on June 6.

As MC reported, Stewart has also been offered the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman, leading many observers to wonder whether there’d be a potential conflict between the two productions.

There will not be.

MC looked into it, and a production source on K-11 told us there’s no official start date as of yet.

Should Stewart and the Snow White filmmakers come to a final agreement on their offer to her, it will in no way interfere with K-11.

Kristen Stewart Offered ‘Snow White’

(GettyImages.com)

On Tuesday, MC confirmed that Kristen Stewart was on Universal’s list for the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman.

At the time, Stewart was described to us as a “person of interest.”

Today, it appears that status has been elevated.

Sources close to the production tell MC the Snow White role belongs to Stewart if the two sides can come to an agreement.

Again, nothing is finalized yet, but the Twilight star has been offered the role.

Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron are currently attached to the project. Rupert Sanders is directing.

MC will keep updating as the story evolves.

Kristen Stewart Wasn't Approached for Lois Lane

Kristen Stewart’s name has been floating over two upcoming projects — Snow White and The Huntsman and Superman.
While the 20-year-old actress is still on the top of the list for the role of Snow White, you can nix Lois Lane off of the list.
The NY Daily News recently reported that a source said that Kristen “wasn’t Lois Lane material.”
But a rep for Kristen states otherwise, telling People, “The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film.”

Elizabeth Reaser: Kristen Stewart's Christmas Cookies are Delicious

While Kristen Stewart may be known for her hard hitting roles in films, her costars know her better as one of their favorite cooks!
Twilight costar Elizabeth Reaser dished to MTV at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival that although she hasn’t had Kristen’s infamous tortilla soup, she does praise her cookies.
“She’s made some really good cookies, I will say that,” Elizabeth shared. “For Christmas she made everyone cookies, and they were delicious.” Yummy!
Elizabeth also opened up on Kristen becoming a vampire in Breaking Dawn. She shared, “She scared me a little bit on Thursday, I’ll be honest with you. You know, when vampires are newborns, they’re stronger than any other vampires. And for a second there I thought, ‘This might not end well! She’s looking pretty pissed right now!””

Will Kristen Stewart be Snow White?

Kristen Stewart might just be edging out her former The Runaways costar Riley Keough for the title role in Rupert Sanders‘ Snow White and the Huntsman.
According to Deadline, the 20-year-old actress’ name is leading the pack. The site states, “Though the studio has been testing young actresses and no one is set, there are persistent rumors that Stewart looms large as a potential lead.”
Other names that were being considered: Felicity Jones, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, and Australian actress Bella Heathcote.
Charlize Theron will play the Evil Queen.
WHAT DO YOU THINK — Would Kristen make a good Snow White?

Georgie Henley: Inspired By Kristen Stewart

Georgie Henley shows off her stunning blue eyes in this new shot from the December 2010 issue of Flaunt magazine.
The 15-year-old actress chats fashion, going for older guys and the women in the business who inspire her — among them, Kristen Stewart.
Georgie shared, “Kristen Stewart inspires me. I respect her for being true to herself, not conforming or doing what people tell her. She deals with the fame really well. I think fame is what you make it. If you don’t want the fame, you can still practice your craft.”
She added that although she’s knee-deep in her studies, she’s looking forward to her acting career ahead of her: “I can’t imagine myself doing anything that would give me more fulfillment in my life. That might be big words for a small girl, but that’s how I feel. You are never going to learn anything if you stay in the same closed-in world. My future is quite ambiguous. I really don’t know what I am going to do; there are so many options. I would love to experiment with music and be in a band. That would be great.”

Kristen Stewart’s name is at the center of rumors surrounding Snow White and the Huntsman.

Right now, the Twilight Saga actress “looms large” for the title character role, according to Deadline.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Viggo Mortensen has become the most likely Huntsman, replacing Michael Fassbender.

Charlize Theron is attached to the project as the Evil Queen. Rupert Sanders is due to direct.

MC is looking into the Stewart casting rumor, but it’s still extremely early in the process, with most major pieces still in flux.

Garrett Hedlund Teases Kristen Stewart Kisses

We might not be seeing Kristen Stewart in On The Road until the end of the year, but costar Garrett Hedlund is teasing us about the duo’s kisses.
The 26-year-old actor told EOnline, “There’s a few [kisses]. Walter [Salles, director] didn’t even watch dailies while we were filming. You know, there just wasn’t the budget for it. We just kept pushing forward and pushing forward.”
So, hard to tell what we’ll get and what we won’t. Cross your fingers!

Robert Pattinson: Kristen Stewart Is a Natural Vampire

Kristen Stewart’s transformation into a vampire in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn won’t suck. Just ask Robert Pattinson!
“It’s like she wanted to do it the entire time. It’s really funny, it’s like a completely different environment onset when she’s a vampire and when she’s not. I think she’s going to do it really well,” the 23-year-old actor told MTV News.
As for the honeymoon sneak peek photo of Bella and Edward in bed together, Rob joked, “I love how they release that for the first one.”
“It’s always awkward [doing a sex scene], in a way, doing it with anybody,” he shared. “But at the same time … it really depends on how it’s staged and stuff. It’s like doing Twister.”

Kristen Stewart: Blonde for February 2011 Vogue!

Kristen Stewart lightens up her locks for the February 2011 cover of Vogue magazine (thanks to BreakingDawnMovie.org).
The 20-year-old actress told the mag about why she goes after the not-so-normal roles, how she feels connected to Bella and her plan for the money she’s making. Check it:
On the roles she goes for: “I choose things that are so overly ambitious, and if I can’t do stuff like that, I don’t want to be doing this.”
On really doing something with the money she’s making: “Anytime I hear that somebody’s really rich, the first question is ‘Do you do anything with it? Or do you, like, chill? You just sit on it?’” She is thinking carefully, strategically, about how best to put her own contribution to use, and has a plan – inspired by her researches for the role of a runaway in the sex trade – to set up a network of halfway houses to help those who want to recover and get back on their feet. “That would be amazing. Right now it’s the thing I feel most connected to.”
On being really connected to Bella Swan: ” [She's] a character who is embedded in so many people’s psyches at this point. It’s starting to enter my head a lot more than it used to because it’s at the end and it’s come such a long way. I just want the fans of the book to be happy. I don’t necessarily care about anyone else.”
