David Archuleta and Jive Records have parted ways, GossipCop confirms.
The 20-year-old musician, who was American Idol’s runner up back in Season 7 (2008), has been dropped by the label after his latest album, The Other Side of Down, failed to deliver the numbers.
David tweeted, “Decisions.. They are scary things before knowing what could happen after you make them, but I’m excited for what the future holds.”
So sad, but don’t worry, we’ll still be blogging about David!
