The father and son actors will publish “Along The Way,” told in their alternating voices, by Father’s Day in 2012.
“I’m so happy to be working on this unique project with my father,” Estevez says in a statement. “We’re both fathers and sons, we’re neighbors and activists, and we hope that our story will communicate an essential message for our times: Film is an illusion. Fame is ephemeral. Faith and family are what endure.”
Of course, the family member we’d REALLY like to see write a book is Charlie Sheen.
It’s not known whether he’ll have any involvement.
