On her beauty habits: “I love having my hair and makeup done, but I’m really just a 15-minute girl, throwing everything on with no fuss. That said, I do color and change my hair all the time!”
On transforming from mortal to vampire: “The whole process takes about two hours. My hair is pretty thick, and we wrap it and put it under a wig. To get it to fit so I don’t like look I have an alien head is a talent in itself. The makeup is even more involved because they have to make us pale without taking away every feature.”
On camaraderie with her Twilight co-stars: “We just filmed the fourth movie, and I think we’ve all grown up. We’re like a family. That’s not to say there weren’t disagreements. We’re working 16 hours a day! We’re exhausted! Things happen. But the nice part is that at the end of the day, it’s like yelling at your sister. You don’t stay mad at her.”

Emma on staying thin: “You’re a human being, you live once and life is wonderful, so eat the damn red velvet cupcake.”
Ashley on where it all started: “I’m a big believer in ‘everything happens for a reason.’ I’m not saying it wasn’t hard. I lived off Lean Cuisine and had no furniture and shared a bedroom with a girl for a year. I ran up my credit card. But every time I thought, I’m going to fail, something happened that kept me here.”
Ashley Greene heads out for a night on the town at Trousdale with two pals in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (March 22).
The 23-year-old actress, wearing Simdog’s “Zigzag” tee, and her friends were spotted eating some dinner at Boa earlier in the night.

Congrats again to Ashley Greene!
The 23-year-old actress was just announced as DonateMyDress.org’s spokesperson for the third year in the row and to celebrate, she’s having a Twitterview TOMORROW on @donatemydress.
Ashley will be hosting the Twitterview where she will answer prom-related questions in real time from girls all across the country – from how to dress for the big night, to makeup tips, to friend and date dilemmas. It all starts @ 4:30PM ET/1:30PM PT and this year, she’ll be giving away a Lela Rose dress she recently wore.
“We’re thrilled that Ashley will be joining us once again to help spread the word about DonateMyDress.org and the important services its volunteer-run chapters provide to deserving girls across the United States. She is an influential yet relatable role model who is using her star status to send the message that it’s fashionable to care about others,” said Julie Hochheiser, senior web editor, Hearst Teen Network.

Could Ashley be on the house hunt again in NYC? She told ASOS mag last year that she would love to live in the Big Apple: “I’m looking for an apartment in New York. There is so much more going on — there’s the music scene and Wall Street. I really don’t think everything would drop just because I walked in a room. It’s nice.”

Later in the day, the 23-year-old actress and her dad met up with Jared Followill at Phebe’s Tavern & Grill to celebrate the Irish holiday.
Ashley tweeted that she was having a hard time finding anything green to wear. Thankfully, she found something so she wouldn’t get pinched. “So … Went shopping… I’ve got green pants :) it’s crazy in NYC!”
