Miley Cyrus Performs 'Bad Reputation' With Joan Jett on 'Oprah' (Video)

Miley Cyrus appeared on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' on Wednesday, but she didn't sit down for a long, in-depth interview with the talk show host as many had hoped. Instead, she performed a medley of hits on stage with rocker Joan Jett.

The 18-year-old star kicked things off with an ever-so-appropriate rendition of 'Bad Reputation,' followed by segments from 'Cherry Bomb' and 'I Hate Myself for Loving You.' Miley appeared with the iconic female guitarist, helping Oprah celebrate rock goddesses of the '70s and '80s.

Although they did not get into her parents' called-off divorce or infamous salvia incident, Oprah did talk to Miley after the performance, asking her if it has been difficult to transition into womanhood after being such a popular child star.

"You know, it's not about how far I can push things so people will believe that I'm not Hannah Montana anymore," Miley said. "You just make the music that you love, and because I'm growing up, so does my music. It's not about trying to make a statement about growing up, you just do."

Watch a clip of Miley's medley with Joan Jett below. What do you think of their performance? Are you disappointed that Miley didn't do a full interview with Oprah?
