While many teens aren’t allowed to wear makeup until they’re 16, for Hailee Steinfeld, she can’t get her ears pierced.
The 14-year-old Oscar-nominated actress chatted with Teen Vogue mag about her budding style and having a great conversation with Andrew Garfield. Check it:
On the jewelry she can wear: “I’ve been trying to stay pretty clean because I want to keep it about the clothes. I can only wear rings, bracelets and necklaces anyway because I don’t have my ears pierced. My mom won’t let me get them pierced until I’m sixteen.”
On networking in Hollywood: “One of the most exciting celebrity encounters I’ve had on the awards circuit so far was with the cast of The Social Network. I’m in love with them. They’re so sweet and down-to-earth. I had a really long conversation with Andrew Garfield, and we shared on-set stories. I’d never really been able to talk to another actor like that before.”
