Jennifer Lopez had a very tough time saying it was over for “American Idol” wannabe Chris Medina.
Medina’s heartbreaking personal story– his fiancee Juliana Ramos was left with a brain injury from a devastating car accident – really struck a chord with J. Lo over the past few weeks.
However, Medina didn’t make the cut for the Top 24, and Lopez broke down after delivering the bad news.
Medina, however, handled his dismissal admirably, telling the judges that his fiancee getting the chance to meet them was “the best time of her life.”
Immediately after Medina made his exit Lopez exploded into tears.
“I just don’t feel like I told him in the right way,” she sobbed, to which Steven Tyler andRandy Jackson assured her she handled it in the best possible way.
