There were vampires, werewolves, zombies, faeries…what about dragons?
MC fell in love with Sophie Jordan’s “Firelight” late last year and now the book is being adapted for a movie!
“Firelight” centers on Jacinda, a young girl who is a “draki,” a descendant of dragons who can morph into human form, and set to marry another of her kind. When Jacinda’s mom moves her and her twin sister to live among humans for safety reasons, Jacinda puts her family at risk when she falls for a member, Will, of a secret dragon-hunting society.
One of MC’s favorite parts — when Jacinda stumbles upon a draki desk!
THR reports that Nick Pustay will write the screenplay and Cathy Schulman is producing.
