Fashion designer John Galliano was detained after drunkenly ranting at a couple at an outdoor cafe in Paris.
It’s not known what set off Galliano, the head designer for Christian Dior, but law enforcement sources report that he made anti-Semitic slurs, an allegation his lawyer has denied.
Officers escorted Galliano to a police station, where he was determined to be just over the legal blood-alcohol level. He was then accompanied by cops back to his home.
No charges have been filed.
Christian Dior, which Galliano has led for 15 years, has suspended the designer pending an investigation.
